Let me introduce you to my buddy Sameer.


Sameer owns a wedding photography business.
It’s successful — he has a great reputation and a solid business.




He came up with an idea…

His thought process was:


✅ People want to save money on wedding photos.

They are expensive.

What if newlyweds could have anyone (a friend, perhaps) take wedding photos on a regular camera?



👉 Then, what if we created a platform to one-click edit those photos to turn them into professional quality shots?



So, Sameer talked to his customers.
They liked the idea.
They said they’d pay for it.
The value is clearly there.

So he built a platform


😍 He created: InstantEditAI.com


Sameer built the AI platform - first as a tool they used internally at their studio.




NOW he’s wanting to make it available to the public.


Side note: It’s pretty awesome!
InstantEditAI.com has great animations and explainer videos. It’s very well done.



So, Sameer went back to his target audience and told them about it…



✅ VERY LITTLE interest from his target audience. Wow. Disappointing.


😞 NOW WHAT?!!??



Introducing the concept: Right product / Wrong audience


Sameer has built something really cool.



It’s incredibly simple to operate (photoshop is hard).


It’s affordable.


And it’s better than using the free filters on Instagram.


✅ Perhaps Sameer is selling to the wrong audience?

Our advice to Sameer is to find the audience that values this and WILL PAY.

We have ideas on who this correct audience might be… and Sameer is talking with them now.



I think his startup can be HUGE if he validates with:



✅ Influencers and companies wanting a one click solution to make their social media photos epic.


✅ Professional headshots — don’t spend huge money on this, make it yourself.



✅ Families wanting to save money on family shots.



✅ Maybe other professional photographers wanting that extra something to boost their image quality?


WHAT IDEAS DO YOU HAVE FOR SAMEER??

Remember this when validating


You have to find an audience that’s willing to pay.

Verbal commitments are nice — but nothing validates like money being handed over.


✅ It’s NOT unrealistic for you to make money selling something you haven’t made yet.

🤩 Preselling: Find a problem that people will pay for. Tell them you are working on solving it. Offer a discount if they prepurchase. Then go create the product.

If buyers are willing to pay you before the product is ready — that’s all the validation you need.
