"🧩 What Worked: A Landing Page Tweak You’ll Want to Try Today"

What we’re working on:
🚀 We’re building a no-code platform that enables anyone to create their own AI tools for their website. Your AI tool will help capture site visitors, as you engage your audience.
What we learned:
After tons of talks with our community, we built a self-serve platform for our customers to build their own AI tool.
👍 It was a bit confusing, the platform.
On our homepage, the customer was met with this widget that launched the AI tool builder…
That led them to this form with several steps required to describe the AI tool they want to create.
😒 It was just too much to grasp, and (even though the customers wanted this solution) most eventually just gave up.
🤷♂️ So our conversions were lower than we expected.
WHY?
Did people not want this service? Or was it something else?
🤩 I know how we can find out!
The change we made that helped:
🖐 What’s the best way to find out what people want? ASK THEM.
As you can see below, we edited the intake widget and explained that we’d get back to the customer within 24 hours to talk about their AI tool.
This seems counterintuitive — DON’T ASK for the sale… but rather ask to talk to the customer?
💡 There’s only one way to find out what’s missing with our offer. We HAVE TO talk to the customers that come to our site.
Let me tell you - A LOT of people filled out our form and wanted to talk.
We were able to ask them everything we wanted to know, from PRICING to FEATURES and (most importantly) THEIR NEEDS.
👍 Now we can revise the platform and relaunch it.
PS: Don’t worry about launching too early. You have to get SOMETHING in front of your audience to find out what they need.
⭐ You might be surprised to learn that many tech companies officially launched 3, 4 and even 5 times. It’s true.
Plus, we didn’t launch our site to the world… just to this newsletter… which gave us much needed feedback to move forward.
The lesson in this — and why it’s GOOD NEWS for you!
😊 If you are working on an idea… YOU DO NOT need to pay someone to code a full product. You don’t even need a product.
You simply need a landing page explaining who you are, why you are credible, what you are working on and a form so you can meet your future customers.
