🔍 Let’s explore how you can validate your idea in the market quickly.

📃 Rules:

Aron and the AI each have to summarize the best way to validate an idea in the market, to determine if it is worth pursuing.

👉 We want to validate in 2 days or less

🙋‍♂️ Aron first.

These are the steps I would take to validate an idea in the next two days.

1️⃣ Create a Customer Profile
Write down your ideal target customer.
What motivates them?
Where do they hang out?
List their demographics.

2️⃣ Build a Free Landing Page
Build a landing page on a free service like Google Forms.
Briefly describe the problem you have uncovered and the solution you are working on.
Make sure you have a spot on the landing page for people to leave their email addresses or contact information.

3️⃣ Go Talk to Them on Social Media
Hop on Reddit or Facebook Groups and ask them about their frustrations in the industry that you are looking to disrupt.
Have casual conversations at this point.
You are NOT selling. You are fact-finding and researching.

⭐ ⭐ Does it seem like the people are interested in your solution?

4️⃣ If NOT, Iterate
Revisit your original idea and modify it to fit what the market is telling you they want.
Do this in real time while you’re having conversations with the people online.
Mold your idea and landing page to fit what they are telling you they need.

5️⃣ Get Feedback on Your Idea
As you are continuing these conversations online, direct the people to your quick landing page that describes what you are trying to accomplish.
They’ll now see your polished idea based on their feedback.
Make sure there is a spot to collect email addresses and expressions of interest.
Still keep it casual in your talks on social media… politely ask if this solution is what they had in mind.

6️⃣ Reach Out to Those That Left Their Contact Information
Start to reach out to the people that left their contact info on your form. Tell them you are working on the perfect solution for their problem.
Continue the conversation with these serious people.

7️⃣ Take Pre Orders, if Possible
If these buyers are super interested, take deposits and pre orders.
This will give you confidence to move forward as well as funding to build the product.

Aron’s Quick 7 Steps to Validate

🤖 AI time.

We went to ValidatorAI.com and asked the AI this prompt:

We are in a hurry and want the easiest and most efficient path possible to validate a startup idea. In a maximum of 7 steps, give us a plan of how we could validate our idea with our target market and determine demand. We want to spend as little money as possible doing this. We want to do all of this in a maximum of 2 days please.

1️⃣ Identify Your Target Audience
Clearly define who your potential customers are, including their demographics, preferences, and needs.

2️⃣ Create a Survey
Develop a simple online survey using platforms like Google Forms or SurveyMonkey.
Keep the questions concise and focus on gathering information about their interest and potential demand for your idea.

3️⃣ Share the Survey
Leverage your personal and professional networks, social media platforms, and relevant online communities to distribute the survey link.
Encourage your network to share it with others who align with your target audience.

4️⃣ Analyze the Survey Results
Once the survey collection period is over, analyze the responses.
Look for patterns, recurring themes, and overall demand indicators.
Identify potential market size, customer pain points, and areas of improvement.

5️⃣ Conduct Competitor Analysis
Research your competitors or similar products/services in the market.
Compare their offerings, pricing, unique selling points, and customer reviews.
Identify any gaps in the market that your idea can address.

6️⃣ Seek Feedback From Industry Experts
Reach out to experts in your industry who can provide valuable insights.
Connect with them through LinkedIn, industry forums, or by attending virtual events.
Ask for their thoughts on your idea, its potential demand, and if they see any challenges or opportunities.

7️⃣ Build a Landing Page or Prototype
Create a basic landing page or a prototype of your product/service.
Use low-cost or no-code tools to showcase the key features, benefits, and value proposition.
Include a call to action, such as signing up for updates or leaving their email address to gauge interest.
